Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach is looking for an energetic, outgoing, and guest-focused Recreation Attendant to help create unforgettable experiences for our guests.
Located right on beautiful Fort Myers Beach and proudly operated by TPI Hospitality, Margaritaville is more than a resort — it’s a destination where people come to relax, reconnect, have fun, and make memories. As a Recreation Attendant, you’ll be right in the middle of it all!
From games and sports to arts and crafts and everything in between, you’ll help bring the resort’s island state of mind to life. Plan, organize, and lead a variety of recreational activities, games, sports, arts and crafts, and other fun experiences for guests of all ages.
Get guests excited about what’s happening around the resort and encourage them to jump in and join the fun.
Create a welcoming environment where families, couples, kids, and adults feel comfortable participating and having a great time.
Lead activities with enthusiasm while keeping guest safety and enjoyment top of mind.
Be a resort recreation expert! Share information about activities, amenities, schedules, facilities, and guidelines so guests know exactly where the fun is happening.
Interact with guests throughout the day, answer questions, and turn ordinary moments into vacation memories.
Work closely with other resort departments and team members to create a seamless and enjoyable guest experience.
Keep recreation areas clean, organized, safe, and ready for action.
Set up, maintain, and break down activities, games, equipment, and recreation spaces according to schedule.
Inspect and properly care for recreation equipment and report any concerns or maintenance needs.
Handle guest questions and concerns with a positive attitude and genuine desire to help.
Assist with opening and closing duties and other side work as needed.
Most importantly — have fun while making sure our guests do too!
We’re looking for someone who brings personality, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality to the team.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in recreation, entertainment, hospitality, or customer service is preferred.
A naturally outgoing personality and the ability to make guests feel welcome.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Comfortable leading activities and interacting with guests of all ages.
A team player who is willing to jump in wherever needed.
Positive, energetic, and able to keep the fun going even when things get busy.
Able to work independently while also being a strong member of the team.
Comfortable working outdoors and in Southwest Florida weather conditions.
Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple activities and guest needs.
Flexible schedule — including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Basic understanding of safety practices and procedures.
A “let’s make it happen” attitude!
