    Contract Details
    Position Type: Contract
    Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
    Start: As Soon As Possible
    Pay Rate: $26–$27/hour
    Schedule: Friday–Monday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (32 hours/week)

    Job Overview
    We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Recovery Specialist – Inpatient to support clients during a critical stage of the substance use recovery process. This role plays a vital part in maintaining a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment while providing both medical and emotional support to individuals receiving inpatient recovery services.
    This position is ideal for someone who is motivated to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals struggling with addiction and who thrives in a structured, overnight care setting.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Ensure the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities
    • Observe and supervise clients and conduct 30-minute well-being checks
    • Perform telephone admission screenings and assist with admission processes
    • Search client belongings at admission and discharge per policy
    • Complete shift documentation, checklists, and recordkeeping accurately and on time
    • Follow agency policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards
    • Support clients in accessing step-down levels of care through structured programming

    Required Skills & Qualifications
    Required:
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Ability to work overnight shifts in an inpatient setting
    • Strong interpersonal, observation, and documentation skills
    Preferred:
    • Experience working with substance use disorder populations
    • Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License in good standing
    Additional Requirements:
    • Must be separated from any BILH-affiliated facility for at least 6 months prior to consideration
