Job Summary
The Recovery Specialist - Inpatient provides medical and emotional support to clients during one of the most pivotal stages of the recovery process. This role ensures a safe and structured environment while supporting individuals struggling with addiction through case management assistance and group treatment services focused on accessing step-down levels of care.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities
Observe and supervise clients and unit operations
Conduct 30-minute client well-being checks
Conduct telephone admission screenings and assist with admissions duties
Search client belongings on admission, discharge, or as directed by supervisor
Complete required checklists, shift documentation, and record keeping in accordance with agency policies and procedures
Support clients in accessing step-down levels of care through case management and group treatment services
