    Job Summary
    The Recovery Specialist - Inpatient provides medical and emotional support to clients during one of the most pivotal stages of the recovery process. This role ensures a safe and structured environment while supporting individuals struggling with addiction through case management assistance and group treatment services focused on accessing step-down levels of care.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Ensure the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities
    • Observe and supervise clients and unit operations
    • Conduct 30-minute client well-being checks
    • Conduct telephone admission screenings and assist with admissions duties
    • Search client belongings on admission, discharge, or as directed by supervisor
    • Complete required checklists, shift documentation, and record keeping in accordance with agency policies and procedures
    • Support clients in accessing step-down levels of care through case management and group treatment services

    Required Experience
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
    • Must be separated from any BILH affiliated facilities for 6 months prior to being considered

    Nice-to-Have Experience
    • Experience working with substance use population preferred
    • Valid MA Driver's License in good standing preferred
