The Recovery Housing Technician supports program participants by helping maintain a safe, structured, and supportive recovery housing environment. This role focuses on resident safety, wellness, accountability, and day-to-day support. Experience in substance use recovery is a plus, but not required.Key Responsibilities:Monitor resident safety, behavior, and overall well-beingConduct daily property and safety checksOrient new residents to house rules, expectations, and policiesComplete daily resident check-ins and weekly meetings as neededMonitor for contraband and ensure a clean, substance-free environmentDocument incidents and concerns within required timeframesSupport residents with grievances and recovery planningProvide transportation for new intakes and as directedCommunicate concerns to leadership and assist with emergenciesExpectations:Model recovery-focused and prosocial behaviorsFollow ethical standards and program policiesMaintain professionalism, boundaries, empathy, and consistencyQualifications:High School Diploma or GED required Experience in recovery housing, behavioral health, or residential settings preferredStrong communication, teamwork, and crisis-management skillsValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededBackground checks are required for this position.
