Duties and Responsibilities
The Compliance Officer position provides operational support to the Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and Ignition Interlock Device (IID) sections and the licensed DUI programs. Responsibilities include handling all DUI and IID inquiries from internal and external customers related to in and out-of-state DUI course/treatment enrollments and completions via phone, fax and/or email; ensuring that customers' driver records are updated with the correct information; collecting, compiling and submitting end-of-month statistics for the DUI & IID sections; creating and maintaining DUI program files for the section staff; and receiving change notices from the DUI programs and notifying staff of the change. We are looking for applicants who have excellent communication skills; the ability to effectively manage time and multi-task; attention to detail; and experience in interpreting state and federal laws, particularly regarding DUI and or IID issues.
