Greenville County Records Division seeks an energetic, dedicated, self-motivated individual to join our team. This individual will provide specialized clerical and administrative support to the general public, professionals, courts, state agencies, and law enforcement agencies. Review and process various requests from the public regarding law enforcement and detention records. Conduct research for the general public, law firms, courts, and other entities. Assist with police and public records tasks; performs customer service functions in a fast-paced work environment; experience handling monies and debit/credit card transactions are beneficial. High school diploma or GED required. Considerable experience in an administrative/clerical field or any equivalent combination of education and training that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities. Exercises judgment in applying established County policies and procedures relative to the Public Safety/Records Division. Must be able to type at a corrected rate of thirty-five to forty-five words per minute. NCIC Certification and Notary Public application will be required before completion of introductory period. Position is 1st shift, 4 day a work week. (8:30am to 4:00pm) Note: No insurance benefits.
