Key Responsibilities for the Records & Compliance Specialist Role:



  • Conduct conflict checks and maintain accurate records within the organization's management systems to support new client and matter intake.

  • Respond to records and compliance-related inquiries, providing timely and professional support to internal stakeholders.

  • Manage the retrieval, tracking, organization, and storage of physical and electronic records.

  • Coordinate records retention, off-site storage, file transfers, and secure destruction processes with internal teams and external vendors.

  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with established records management and information governance policies.


Qualifications for the Records & Compliance Specialist:



  • 3+ years of records management experience within a legal, professional services, or similarly regulated environment.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

  • Proficiency with records management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
