Title: Record Clerk

Position summary:
Provides a variety of full performance complex clerical and technical duties designed to expedite the data entry and information management of all department records, civil processes, reports, cases and statistics.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Assists in preparation and processing of officer incident reports.
• Assigns case numbers, type's records, prints out and Files data as needed.
• Records incoming calls regarding cases and incidents and relays information to appropriate agencies (ADA, IPO, etc) and supplies record checks to authorized agencies.
• Receives and logs civil and criminal documents such as writs, summons, complaints, and citations, supplemental orders, civil bench warrants, orders to show cause, notice of trials, and orders of sales for processing.
• Prepares monthly FBI reports.
• Reports total criminal and law enforcement activity accordingly to appropriate agencies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Good communication skills, follows directions and good public relations.
• Excellent typing skills and computer knowledge.
