CITY OF KILLEEN POSITION DESCRIPTION

Niche RMS Manager

This position is responsible for maintenance of the departments RMS domain and connectivity to external servers.

The employee will have the responsibility of:

• Being the liaison between department, host agency Program Manager, and RMS Solution Specialist, to assist in the implementation of program changes, updates, corrections, and other system fixes
• Conducting proactive monitoring and highlight corrective actions required to ensure the continued efficient operation of NicheRMS
• Ensuring access/access levels are maintained and regularly audited
• Recommending and performing application tailoring
• Creating and maintaining tools and scripts needed to automate administration tasks
• Performing troubleshoots and diagnoses to resolve network and system problems
• Providing detailed analysis and feedback to management on RMS issues
• Providing helpdesk for the NicheRMS system
• Conducts training of new and incumbent employees

Required Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and;
• Minimum of five years of experience in database and system administration, computers, and software applications or;
• Any equivalent combination of related education and experience

Special Requirements:

• Must have a valid Texas driver's license by date of hire
• Must pass a thorough background investigation
• Maintains CJIS security certification.
