Record Center Specialist

Midway Staffing is currently hiring Record Center Specialists for a physically active position supporting the organization, processing, and movement of records and materials. This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and performing physical tasks throughout the workday.

Location: Pico Rivera, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Duties:

• Process incoming and outgoing orders and accurately move, organize, and arrange boxes, bins, totes, files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
• Lift, carry, push, pull, and move boxes weighing approximately 10–100 lbs. without assistance.
• Use hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment to safely move materials throughout the facility.
• Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material-handling equipment.
• Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
• Operate handheld scanners and proprietary computer systems to track orders and locate boxes.
• Read labels and verify materials to ensure accurate processing of incoming and outgoing orders.
• Frequently walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, bend, crawl, twist, and reach throughout the shift.
• Safely work on uneven and concrete surfaces, inclines, stairs, and changes in elevation.
• Climb and balance on ladders as needed.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment while following all safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Ability to regularly lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs. without assistance.
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, squat, stoop, bend, crawl, twist, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
• Ability to safely operate hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Ability to read and write English and accurately read labels and process orders.
• Ability to work independently and safely in a physically demanding environment.
• Comfortable working on concrete surfaces, inclines, stairs, and uneven walking surfaces.
• Ability to climb and balance on ladders when required.
• Protective footwear is required and must meet ASTM F2413-11 standards for protective/safety-toe footwear with a slip-resistant rating designated as "Better" or "Best."
