Position Overview
The Reconstruction Technician is responsible for restoring residential and commercial properties following fire, water, mold, and storm damage. This position performs a variety of skilled carpentry and finish work to return properties to pre-loss condition while delivering quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.
This Position Will Contribute in the Following Ways
- Perform reconstruction work on residential and commercial restoration projects.
- Complete carpentry including framing, trim, doors, cabinetry, and finish work.
- Install drywall, tape, texture, paint, and flooring.
- Perform basic plumbing and minor electrical repairs as needed.
- Read work orders and complete projects according to company quality standards.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
- Utilize company mobile technology to document work and project updates.
- Travel between multiple job sites as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
- Support teammates and other departments to keep projects on schedule.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Two (2) years of construction, carpentry, or reconstruction experience preferred.
- Restoration industry experience is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and general construction.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Basic hand tools required.
- Ability to use smartphones and tablets for daily job documentation.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and reach throughout the workday.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Safely operate hand and power tools

Pay: Starting $22.00 per hour
