Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Reconstruction Project Coordinator for a growing construction and restoration organization supporting residential reconstruction projects. This is a Direct Hire, fully onsite opportunity in Mesa, Arizona, working a standard Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Reconstruction Project Coordinator will serve as the central point of coordination between Estimators, Project Managers, Superintendents, customers, and other project stakeholders to keep reconstruction projects moving from estimate approval through completion and final billing. This role is ideal for someone who naturally identifies the next step, follows up persistently, and takes ownership of outstanding details rather than waiting to be given a task list. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, comfortable working with a variety of personalities, and motivated by seeing projects successfully move across the finish line.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate residential reconstruction projects from estimate approval through project completion and final billing, ensuring deadlines, next steps, and outstanding items are actively managed.
• Track customer approvals, work authorizations, permits, materials, documentation, project decisions, and other requirements necessary to keep projects progressing.
• Coordinate communication and follow-up between Estimators, Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, homeowners, insurance contacts, and other stakeholders.
• Review project files for missing information, scope changes, supplements, completion documents, change orders, and billing requirements.
• Monitor pending estimates and stalled projects, proactively identifying outstanding action items and following through until issues are resolved.
• Maintain accurate project updates, notes, deadlines, and next steps within project management systems while managing multiple active projects simultaneously.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Project coordination experience within construction, with backgrounds in restoration, reconstruction, residential construction, or insurance-related repairs highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with Project Managers, Superintendents, customers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders with varying communication styles and personalities.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple active projects, deadlines, documentation requirements, and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Proactive and persistent approach to follow-up, with the ability to recognize when a project has stalled, determine the appropriate next step, and take ownership through resolution.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and relationship-building skills with a team-oriented mentality and comfort working independently without requiring constant direction.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This Direct Hire opportunity offers a base salary of $60,000-$70,000, depending on experience and qualifications, plus a 2% profit-sharing opportunity estimated at approximately $20,000-$30,000.
