Thunder Bay Community Health Service (TBCHS) is looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a vital role in creating a positive experience while helping connect individuals and families with the healthcare services they need.

What You'll Do
As a Receptionist, you will:
- Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion.
- Answer incoming multi-line phone calls and assist patients with questions.
- Schedule appointments and help coordinate patient care.
- Verify insurance information and update electronic health records.
- Collect co-pays, process payments, and balance daily collections.
- Protect confidential patient information while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Connect patients with valuable TBCHS services, including insurance enrollment, behavioral health, dental, pharmacy, transportation assistance, and financial assistance programs.
- Help ensure smooth daily clinic operations through excellent customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of related customer service, receptionist, or administrative experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to travel between TBCHS clinic locations as needed.
