Pay: $17-$19/hour

A premier eye care and optometry practice in the Mapleton, Iowa area is seeking a customer-focused Optometric Receptionist to join their team. Whether you have previous optical experience or a strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a willingness to learn, this role offers continuous growth and hands-on training.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome patients upon arrival and update insurance records.
• Perform insurance verification and billing procedures.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Handle incoming phone calls and patient inquiries.
• Perform daily financial balancing and administrative office support.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to top-tier customer service and patient care.
• Computer literacy and comfort working with clinic software and modern medical technology.
• Highly organized, resourceful, and detail-oriented.
• Strong team player who thrives in a growing, fast-paced environment.

• Prior experience in the optical industry or as an Optometric Technician is a plus

Compensation

• Pay rate $17 to $19/hour, depending on experience.
