Responsibilities
Welcome customers with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
Answer incoming phone calls and direct callers to the appropriate department or team member.
Process customer payments accurately using cash, checks, and authorized credit accounts.
Reconcile repair orders and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
Calculate labor, parts, taxes, shop supplies, and warranty charges as applicable.
Complete accounting entries and documentation for repair orders in accordance with dealership procedures.
Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and daily cash accountability.
Securely handle customer vehicle keys and return them upon payment completion.
File repair orders and maintain organized service records.
Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information at all times.
Support the service and accounting departments with additional administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous receptionist, cashier, customer service, or administrative experience is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
Comfortable using computers and dealership software systems.
Ability to work effectively within established processes and procedures.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver''s license preferred.
