Our PreK–High School Culinary Arts program in Carle Place, NY is a one-of-a-kind educational community dedicated to inspiring the next generation of culinary talent from an early age. We're looking for a friendly, organized Receptionist/Admin Assistant to be the welcoming face of our school and keep our daily operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist students, parents, staff, and visitors in a warm and professional manner
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and general inquiries
• Manage front desk operations including sign-in/sign-out procedures and visitor management
• Provide administrative support to school leadership and faculty as needed
• Maintain and organize student records, files, and office documentation
• Coordinate scheduling, appointments, and school communications
• Assist with data entry, correspondence, and general clerical duties

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a receptionist, administrative, or school office role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced school environment
• Comfortable working with children and families of all ages, PreK through High School
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree a plus
• Reliable, punctual, and a true team player
