About the role.

The Central Receiving (CRR) Attendant plays a key role in ensuring a consistent flow of raw product to manufacturing operations at the Burley facility. This position is responsible for monitoring and controlling raw receiving systems, operating equipment, maintaining product specifications, troubleshooting operational issues, and supporting production performance across multiple plants. The CRR Attendant helps ensure quality, efficiency, and safety standards are achieved while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

What you'll be doing.

  • Monitor and maintain product flow to ensure all plants receive a consistent and uninterrupted supply of raw product.
  • Ensure sizing equipment is operating effectively and product meets specifications for designated products and plants.
  • Operate equipment including skid loaders (bobcats), forklifts, high-pressure water hoses, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other required tools within the Central Raw Receiving area.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues throughout the CRR area and coordinate resolution efforts with Operations, Maintenance, and Electronics teams.
  • Accurately calculate, record, and report operational data and production information.
  • Utilize RS View systems to monitor and troubleshoot Milestone equipment, including orange rollers, steel rollers, FM reverse rollers, blower fans, and trash conveyance systems.
  • Adjust and change sizing equipment based on production requirements and plant needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and 5S principles.
  • Promote a safe work environment by following all company safety procedures and reporting potential hazards.
  • Support operational excellence initiatives and other duties as assigned.

What you'll need to be successful.

  • One to three months of related manufacturing, production, agricultural, or equipment operation experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance procedures, and process documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to complete reports and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and troubleshoot equipment and operational issues.
  • Comfortable working with a variety of equipment and computerized operating systems.
  • Basic mathematical skills and attention to detail for data collection and recordkeeping.
  • Ability to work a 12-hour day or night shift schedule.
  • Commitment to food safety, employee safety, GMPs, and continuous improvement principles.

About the team.

The Central Receiving team supports raw product receiving and distribution operations for multiple manufacturing plants within the Burley facility. Team members work collaboratively with Production, Maintenance, Electronics, and Quality teams to ensure efficient product flow, equipment reliability, and operational success. This role is critical to maintaining production continuity and delivering high-quality products to our customers.

Compensation Package: - Starting at 22.37 USD hourly + Bonus eligibility + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts
