Compensation: $21.00–$23.00 per hour depending on shift – paid weekly
Schedule: 1st & 2nd shift | Monday–Thursday | 7am-4:00pm or 4:30 PM–3:00 AM

About the Opportunity

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Shipping & Receiving Material Handlers for a food production company in Long Prairie, MN. In this role, you'll support warehouse and production operations by ensuring finished products are accurately labeled, stored, staged, and shipped according to company standards. What You’ll Do as a Receiving Material Handler:

• Ensure finished products are properly labeled and stored in designated warehouse locations
• Stage orders and prepare loads for scheduled outbound shipments
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently using material handling equipment
• Complete accurate and legible shipping, receiving, and inventory paperwork
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and cycle count activities
• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies as needed
• Communicate regularly with warehouse leadership regarding production schedules, shipment priorities, and receiving needs
• Utilize scanners and inventory tracking systems to maintain inventory accuracy
• Maintain food safety, quality, and sanitation standards at all times
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned

What You Need to Bring to the Material Handler Role:

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or inventory experience preferred
• Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment preferred
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills and inventory tracking experience
• Experience using warehouse scanners and inventory systems preferred
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Team-oriented mindset with a sense of urgency and accountability
