    Job Description Summary:


     

    Maintains the efficient flow of the activity in the Shipping Receiving section of Central Distribution.


     

    Job Description:


     

    Essential Functions:

    • Coordinates and performs the daily functions for supply and equipment distribution for departments as well as shipping services.
    • Notifies departments of order status. Advises essential stakeholders of problems and delays on orders as needed.
    • Acts as a liaison between department leadership, support staff, vendors, and customers to fulfill supply and equipment requests, resolve incorrect orders, invoice discrepancies, shipping and courier services, and vendor returns.
    • Receives and inspects incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness.

    Education Requirement:

    High school graduate or equivalent, required.

    Certifications:

    Must be willing to become certified trainer for powered industrial lift trucks (OSHA requirement).


    Skills:

    • Knowledge of supply distribution and materials management terminology.
    • Must be courteous to all customers both vendor representatives and employees visiting the Central Distribution Department.
    • Needs to have the ability to remain calm when dealing with a variety of tasks at the same time.

    Experience:

    Shipping and receiving experience, required.
