Receiving Clerk

The Receiving Clerk keeps material moving safely and accurately from the delivery truck to the production floor — receiving and staging incoming shipments, pulling material against inventory sheets, and working closely with purchasing to keep supply levels accurate. Reaching, crouching, bending over, and other physically strenuous activities as required by the immediate supervisor.

Position Overview
The Receiving Clerk keeps material moving safely and accurately from the delivery truck to the production floor — receiving and staging incoming shipments, pulling material against inventory sheets, and working closely with purchasing to keep supply levels accurate.


Regular duties performed:

• Load and unload material from delivery trucks
• Coordinate new inventory levels with the purchasing department
• Read inventory sheets to pull correct material for upcoming production
• Responsible for supplying work areas with necessary material
• Safely relocating or repacking inventory items as directed
• Work with purchasing and inventory to ensure supply levels are accurate
• Shift is M-F, 7a-3:30p

Education, skills, qualifications, and experience needed to perform the responsibilities of the position:

• Forklift training and Certification will be required
• High school diploma or GED
• Reaching, crouching, bending over, and other physically strenuous activities as required by the immediate supervisor
• Must have reliable transportation
• Able to lift 50lbs as needed
• Regular and consistent attendance record
