    Receiving Clerk
     
    This position is a non-exempt, full-time.
    Anticipated schedule: Monday–Friday. 
    Starting pay range: $20.00-28.48/hour, DOE.

    Every day, supplies and products arrive at Moab Regional Hospital that our teams rely on to care for patients and keep the hospital running.

    As our Receiving Clerk, you'll be the important first point in that process. You'll receive and unload deliveries, verify and document incoming shipments, enter receiving information accurately, and help make sure supplies reach the right departments throughout the hospital.

    This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys staying active, keeping things organized, and making sure the details are right. You'll work closely with our Materials Management team and departments across MRH to keep supplies moving efficiently from the receiving dock to the people who need them.

    Your work may happen behind the scenes, but its impact is felt throughout the hospital. When our teams have the right supplies at the right time, they can stay focused on what matters most: caring for our patients

    Essential Duties

    • Unload trucks and deliver products to designated locations. Keep records of delivery in form of packing slip or bill of lading.
    • Enter all receiving information into the MMIS system on a daily basis to insure accurate inventory counts.
    • Replenish 2-Bin System throughout MRH     
    • Pick orders from department requisitions/2-bin. Deliver these orders to the departments and put stock in designated locations
    • Enter pick list quantities in the MMIS system at the time of pick to maintain accurate inventory counts in the system.
    • Adjust inventory counts to insure on-hand quantities remain accurate. If QOH is off, find discrepancy and fix the QOH to the accurate amount before the end of that day.
    • Check all inventory areas for expirations (pull and process immediately)
    • Work with Buyer to understand shipment schedules for each day.
    • Package and return merchandise to vendor for repair or credit when appropriate.
    • Work with department Directors and Managers to assist with the management of inventory in their location. Set minimum and maximum order quantities in an effort to control utilization.
    • Manage stock rotation to minimize expired inventory.
    • Work with Department Managers and Buyer on product conversions.
    • Conduct physical inventory as scheduled by the Director, Materials Management and/or CFO
    • Work Inventory Specialists, Buyer and Director of Materials Management on MM projects whenever needed.
    • Maintain accurate inventory within MMIS database.
