Title: Receiving Clerk
Location: Elmhurst, IL
Hire Type: Contract to Hire
Shift : 1st Shift
Compensation: $22-25/hr

Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join a growing, family-owned manufacturing organization. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and is looking for a long-term opportunity.
The company designs and manufactures customized industrial cooling equipment used in advanced technologies, including medical devices, MRI, and other specialized applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying packing lists against open purchase orders in the ERP system.
- Identify and report shipment discrepancies, damaged goods, and inventory issues.
- Communicate receipt of equipment, tools, samples, and other delivered materials to the appropriate teams.
- Update inventory records and ensure materials are stored in designated locations.
- Maintain accurate receiving documentation and communicate discrepancies to the purchasing team.
- Safely operate material-handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, organized receiving area and follow all warehouse safety procedures.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of receiving experience.
- Previous experience working with ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written communication skills, particularly through email.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification.
