RECEIVING CLERK - 1ST SHIFT

POSITION SUMMARY

Receiving incoming goods provided by multiple customers. Provide accurate receiving count on all incoming material. The receiver assists with the overall functions of the shipping and receiving process.

POSITION DETAILS

• Create goods by receiving material through our scanning process by using a hand held RF scanning unit.
• Generates LPN's from a system generated receiving report, report provided by office admins.
• Verifies pallets, unit counts and inner cartons QTY counts prior to creating LPN's.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Must be able to provide good verbal and written communication as well as working at a fast and stead pace.
• Verbal communication with dock leads and office personal, excellent team work is required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma required
• 1 year forklift operation experience, preferred
• 1-3 years experience with Inventory Control activities and responsibilities preferred.
• Excellent communication skills via phone, email, and in person; correct verbiage, punctuation, and grammar. Ability to communicate effectively with subordinates, peers, superiors, and customers.
• Experience with 3PL WMS system preferred, including inventory activity transactions and reporting. Experience with QSSI PowerHouse WMS system is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft office products, and Microsoft Outlook
