The primary function of the Receiving Associate is to receive in deliveries of product and assist in maintaining inventory.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Unload vendor deliveries
- Moves product to assigned locations
- Accurately maintain various forms and logs, analyzes data via computer or handheld device and written reports
- Operate Company warehouse management system software and RF scanners
- Operate powered equipment such as forklifts or reach lifts and pallet jack to move pallets of merchandise
- Match merchandise to purchase orders
- Sign for shipments received
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Forklift experience is required 1 year
- 1 yr previous experience in a warehouse setting
- Previous Experience with RF scanner
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload
- Must have strong mental math skills
- Must work well with others
- Must be able to maintain safety procedures at all time
