Receiving Associate

Smart Staffing is seeking a reliable receiving associate to support warehouse operations by accurately handling inbound products and maintaining inventory integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, sort, and record incoming product using RF devices.
• Unload trailers manually and/or with forklifts and related equipment.
• Verify counts against packing slips and audit product for accuracy and integrity.
• Tag product as needed and maintain organized, accurate paperwork for each order.
• Assist with problem resolution related to inbound product.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to use RF devices and computers; basic math skills.
• Ability to communicate in English, verbally and in writing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Regular bending, twisting, overhead lifting, pushing, and pulling; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Visual acuity for inventory tasks and report review.
• Exposure to loud and dusty conditions; temperature fluctuations and proximity to powered industrial equipment (forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, conveyors, etc.).

Schedule

• Second shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
