Description

Our client, one of the largest healthcare corporations, is seeking a Rebate Disbursement Analyst to own end-to-end rebate disbursement execution for an assigned client portfolio and serve as a subject matter expert on client contracts, payment terms, and rebate requirements.

Location: Eden Prairie, MN 55344

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM CST - Hybrid Schedule

Employment Type: 3 month contract role with potential for extension or conversion!

Pay Rate: $30 to $32 per hour depending on experience

  • Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end rebate disbursement execution for an assigned portfolio of clients.
  • Interpret client contracts, rebate agreements, payment terms, and system setup logic to ensure accurate payments.
  • Execute rebate payments through established disbursement systems while meeting accuracy and timeliness metrics.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert regarding assigned client contracts and rebate terms.
  • Partner with Quality Control, Continuous Improvement, Rebate Analytics, Billing, FP&A, Legal, Underwriting, and Client Management teams.
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies, inquiries, and operational issues through independent analysis.
  • Perform variance analysis and root cause analysis to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Monitor established processes and identify inefficiencies, opportunities for automation, and process improvements.
  • Communicate findings, issues, and recommendations clearly to internal stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and meeting established deadlines.
  • Support ad hoc financial, operational, and process improvement initiatives as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow established financial controls and procedures.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Experience in complex financial operations, rebate operations, payment processing, or a related analytical environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research issues and determine root causes.
  • Experience interpreting contracts, financial terms, payment requirements, or business rules.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required.
  • SQL experience is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and shift priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively partnering with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience identifying process inefficiencies and recommending improvements.
  • Healthcare, insurance, rebate, or financial services experience is a plus.
