    Position Summary

    The Reality Capture Specialist primarily performs field operations-flying drones, capturing site data, conducting assessments, and carrying out inspections using advanced Reality Capture technology.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Ø Field Operations: Execute Reality Capture activities on construction sites, including flying drones and operating equipment to support surveying, progress monitoring, inspections, and safety assessments.

    Ø Data Capture: Use Reality Capture tools such as UAVs, 360° cameras, and handheld LiDAR scanners to collect high-quality site data for analysis and reporting

    Ø Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all FAA Part 107 regulations and company safety standards, ensuring Reality Capture operations remain compliant and all required documentation is current.

    Ø Equipment Maintenance: Implement, administrate and maintain Reality Capture hardware and software, troubleshoot issues, and ensure all equipment is fully operational.

    Ø Deployment & Operation (Remote and On-Site): Deploy and operate Reality Capture equipment both remotely and on-site, including planning and executing drone flights, performing pre-flight and scan checks, monitoring data quality in real time, and securely transferring collected data while maintaining accurate logs and project metadata.

    Ø Schedule and Availability: Must be available for overtime as needed and maintain consistent, punctual attendance.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Reality Capture Technology, Engineering, Construction Management, Surveying, or a related field.
    • Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in Reality Capture operations, preferably within the construction or industrial sectors.
    • Certification: FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification required.
    • Basic knowledge of Reality Capture platforms, aerial & ground imaging technologies, photogrammetry and software.
    • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
    • Ability and willingness to travel up to 40% to various job sites and locations.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with GIS/mapping tools and CAD software for construction site applications.
    • Prior experience in Reality Capture based solutions for surveying, inspection, or progress monitoring within the construction industry.

    Physical Demands:

    • Remote work arrangements may be considered; however, significant travel to job sites, client locations, and company offices is required
    • Adaptability and the ability to work independently in diverse settings are critical to success in this role.
    • Ability to lift & carry equipment up to 50 LB repeatedly and climb ladders or scaffolding safely (per job‑site safety standards).
