Full-Time Medical Surgical Registered Nurse North/West Nebraska
Connected Health Care is partnering with a respected healthcare facility in North/West Nebraska to hire a Full-Time Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (Med Surg RN). Position Overview
Full-Time, Permanent Medical Surgical Registered Nurse position
Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients in an inpatient hospital setting
Assess patient conditions and develop individualized plans of care
Administer medications, treatments, IV therapy, and other prescribed interventions
Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions
Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, ancillary departments, and other healthcare professionals
Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and emergency situations
Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection prevention standards, and patient safety guidelines
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the hospitalization process
Education & Certification Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
Active Nebraska RN license or ability to obtain Nebraska licensure
Compact RN license accepted when applicable
Current BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred or may be required based on facility standards
Previous Medical Surgical nursing experience preferred
New graduate RNs may be considered depending on facility needs
Strong assessment, communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills
