Real Estate Specialist I

Salary Range: $44,369 - $59,232 annually
General Description and Classification Standards:
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to developing and implementing real property and facilities inventory systems; administering and coordinating contracts related to the use of city-owned facilities, the preparation of specifications for contract negotiation and processing associated paperwork.
Supervision Received:
Works under general supervision. Depending on organizational structure, may work independently with responsibility for an assigned function or program.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience -
High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
2 years of progressively responsible commercial property management experience or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
Licensures and Certifications
Valid Driver's License
Preferred Requirements -
2-3 years of progressively responsible business and/or real estate or commercial property management experience.
Commercial Leasing and Property Management Certification
Real Estate License
Work Environment:
Office environment mostly at the neighborhood centers.
Lifting Requirements:
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
