Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Location
Cincinnati, Ohio. This role will be in person for approximately the first year to support onboarding and collaboration. After that period, a hybrid schedule may be available, typically allowing 1 to 2 days per week from home.

Candidates must have 2+ years of real estate paralegal experience and title company or title agency experience gained within a law firm environment.

Job Description
- Coordinate commercial real estate transactions from due diligence through closing.
- Prepare title commitments and issue title policies.
- Review titles, surveys, zoning reports, and other transaction documents.
- Prepare closing documents, closing checklists, deeds, memoranda, and related real estate documentation.
- Assist attorneys and clients with resolving title defects and other closing issues.
- Coordinate title examinations, surveys, zoning reports, recordings, and third-party diligence.
- Manage title company premium remittances, audits, annual reviews, and compliance-related filings.
- Submit documents for recording and handle applicable 1099-S reporting.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of real estate paralegal experience.
- Title company or title agency experience within a law firm environment.
- Experience supporting real estate closings and title-related matters.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and transactions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commercial real estate closing experience strongly preferred.
- Experience preparing title commitments, issuing policies, reviewing surveys, and curing title defects preferred.
