Job DetailsJob Duties:
- Assist attorneys with major commercial real estate transactions from start to close
- Review title, survey, and other due diligence materials
- Handle curative resolutions to title issues
- Organize pre- and post-closing documentation
- Manage transaction and closing timelines
- Prepare closing statements and checklists
- Review contracts and leases
- Draft title objection letters
- Support entity formation work
- Manage multiple complex matters simultaneously with minimal oversight
Job Requirements:
- 5-10+ years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal specifically. Other paralegal experience (litigation, family law, etc.) doesn't transfer for this role.
- Associate degree required, Bachelor's preferred
- ABA Paralegal Certification a plus, but strong hands-on transactional experience can substitute
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, comfortable owning multiple closings at once
