Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Capital Markets Finance Associate to join a leading national law firm with a prominent real estate finance practice. This is an exceptional opportunity for a mid- to senior-level associate to work on complex commercial real estate financing and investment matters in a collaborative, high-profile environment.
The OpportunityThe firm is seeking an associate with 4–8 years of experience representing clients in commercial real estate finance, including:
Origination of mortgage loans and other structured debt for lenders
Workouts of distressed commercial real estate loans
Purchases and sales of commercial property
4–8 years of relevant real estate finance experience at a large regional, national, or international law firm
Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials
Base salary range (NYC / NY State / CO / CA): $310,000 – $435,000, commensurate with experience
