    Overview

    This Associate position is a key role within a real estate private equity team focused on acquiring and managing a diversified portfolio of real estate investments across the United States. The team specializes in acquiring standing assets and enhancing them through renovation, repositioning, re-tenanting, and selective development in supply-constrained markets.

    Position Summary

    The Associate will play a key role across the full investment lifecycle, supporting underwriting, acquisitions, asset management, and dispositions across multiple property types including industrial, multifamily, office, retail, and hospitality. This is a highly analytical and hands-on position with direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to grow into deal sourcing and relationship management over time.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain detailed financial models for acquisitions, developments, and asset-level business plans
    • Conduct in-depth market research and support asset- and portfolio-level due diligence processes
    • Analyze capital structures, investment strategies, and risk factors across potential transactions
    • Evaluate property performance, including revenues, operating expenses, capital expenditures, tenant profiles, and lease structures
    • Partner with brokers, developers, and other market participants to gather real-time market intelligence
    • Assess key market drivers such as rent growth, occupancy trends, absorption, and liquidity conditions
    • Support investment presentations and contribute to internal decision-making processes
    • Assist with asset management initiatives, including financing, refinancing, and disposition strategies
    • Review transaction and legal documentation in coordination with internal teams and external advisors

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field with strong academic credentials
    • 2-4 years of relevant experience in real estate private equity, investment banking, or a similar analytical role
    • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; ARGUS experience is a plus
    • Strong presentation and communication skills
    • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
    • Collaborative mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
    • High level of professionalism, integrity, and intellectual curiosity
    • Willingness to travel as needed
