Reading Teacher/Reading Specialist

Position:

Siren School is seeking a full time interventionist. This position requires someone who is able to balance doing interventions with fidelity, working closely with classroom teachers, and monitoring progress of tier 3 students.

Responsibilities and knowledge:

• Response to Intervention and/or Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports

• Evidence-based reading interventions and practices

• Evidence-based math interventions and practices

• Individualized and small group instruction

• ACT 20, personal reading plans, and assessment

• Data analysis

• Wisconsin academic standards

• Collaboration and coaching

• Technology use

Qualifications:

• The position requires a Wisconsin DPI 316 Reading certification

• Ideal candidate would also have DPI 317 Reading Specialist

• Strong communication, organization, classroom management, and student engagement skills.
