The Johnson Creek School District is seeking to hire a long term substitute Reading Interventionist/Reading Specialist to support student literacy development across grade levels. Ideal candidates will hold a valid 316 Reading Teacher license. Bilingual candidates and candidates with a 317 Reading Specialist license are strongly encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
Valid 316 Reading Teacher license or eligibility under emergency licensing rules
Experience with Act 20 rules and regulations preferred
Collaboration skills and a passion for student literacy growth
Strong understanding of the science of reading
