GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Applicants should be able to plan age-appropriate developmental lessons and teach small groups of pre-school children age 2-5. Responsibilities also include working with families to provide support for early childhood development in the areas of reading and social-emotional learning, implementing engaging reading lessons, and facilitating educational activities with students and parents.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor''s degree required. Applicants with teaching experience in early childhood or primary grades are preferred. VA Teaching license is preferred.

This Temporary Employment Agreement (TEA) position is for the 2026-2027 school year and is not eligible for benefits.
This is a part time position that will take place both during school hours and evening hours, and occasionally on the weekends.
Hourly Rate: $18.19
