Join Zoox, an Amazon subsidiary and leader in autonomous mobility, as a Readiness & Response Operator 2 supporting its Robotaxi fleet in Miami. This is a hands-on opportunity combining vehicle operations, technical troubleshooting, field response, and customer service in a fast-paced autonomous vehicle environment.

• Compensation: $29/hour + shift differentials
  • 1st Shift: +5% on weekends
  • 2nd Shift: +5% weekdays / +7% weekends
  • 3rd Shift: +7.5% weekdays / +10% weekends
• Start: September/October
• Training: First 4 weeks, Monday Friday, 7:30 AM 3:30 PM
• Post-Training Shifts: Weekends required
  • 1st: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
  • 2nd: 2:00 PM 10:30 PM
  • 3rd: 10:00 PM 6:30 AM

CANDIDATE BACKGROUND PROFILE

• 2 4+ years of experience in fleet operations, automotive, aviation, logistics, field service, hospitality, or another fast-paced operational environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable performing basic technical troubleshooting and learning new technology
• Experience with vehicles, inspections, maintenance, or fleet operations preferred
• Adaptable and comfortable balancing hands-on vehicle work, field response, and customer-facing responsibilities
• Strong attention to detail with a safety-first mindset
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in both indoor and outdoor environments
• Must have held a valid in-state driver's license continuously for at least 3 years with a clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle report
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and meet the physical demands of the position

SCOPE OF WORK

• Prepare autonomous Robotaxis for passenger service by completing detailed vehicle readiness inspections
• Ensure vehicles are clean, charged, safe, and operating correctly before deployment
• Verify sensors, onboard systems, and vehicle functionality and perform basic mechanical and software checks
• Troubleshoot technical issues using internal tools and assist with vehicle software updates
• Respond to Robotaxis requiring assistance in the field, including vehicle recovery and repositioning
• Support remote vehicle operations when required and coordinate with internal teams to safely return vehicles to service
• Assist passengers during service disruptions and provide professional, customer-first support during recovery events
• Follow established safety procedures, document issues accurately, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and time-sensitive operational situations while maintaining a high standard of safety, quality, and customer service
