Join Zoox as a Readiness & Response Operator 2 (RR2) and help support the day-to-day operation of its autonomous Robotaxi fleet in Las Vegas. This hands-on role combines vehicle operations, technical troubleshooting, field response, logistics, and customer service.

• Title: Readiness & Response Operator 2 (RR2)
• Type: W2 Contract — Ongoing
• Location: On-site — Las Vegas, NV
• Compensation: $29/hour + shift differentials
  • 1st Shift: 5% weekend differential
  • 2nd Shift: 5% weekday / 7% weekend differential
  • 3rd Shift: 7.5% weekday / 10% weekend differential
• Start: September/October
• Schedule: Full-time; weekends required after training. Multiple shifts available, with greatest hiring need on 3rd and 2nd shifts.

CANDIDATE BACKGROUND PROFILE

• 2–4+ years of experience in fleet operations, automotive, aviation, logistics, field service, hospitality, or another fast-paced operational environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to remain calm and professional during high-pressure situations
• Mechanically inclined with basic technical troubleshooting skills and comfortable learning new technology, software, and tools
• Experience with vehicles, inspections, maintenance, fleet operations, or hands-on technical work strongly preferred
• Adaptable and comfortable balancing changing priorities, field work, technical tasks, and customer interactions
• Strong attention to detail with a safety-first mindset
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must have held a valid in-state driver's license for at least 3 years with no license gaps and have a clean driving record
• Must be able to pass required drug screening, background check, and motor vehicle report
• Strong interest in Zoox, autonomous vehicles, and the opportunity to support emerging transportation technology

SCOPE OF WORK

• Prepare autonomous Robotaxis for passenger service through detailed vehicle inspections and readiness checks
• Ensure vehicles are clean, charged, safe, and operating correctly before deployment
• Verify sensors, onboard systems, and other vehicle components
• Perform basic mechanical and software troubleshooting using internal tools and established procedures
• Assist with software updates and resolve vehicle readiness issues
• Respond to Robotaxis requiring assistance in the field
• Recover, reposition, and support vehicles during operational disruptions
• Remotely operate vehicles when required and permitted by established procedures
• Assist passengers during vehicle recovery or service disruption events while delivering professional customer service
• Coordinate with internal teams to safely and efficiently return vehicles to service
• Follow established safety, quality, documentation, and operational procedures
• Serve as a professional ambassador for Zoox and its autonomous transportation technology
