The next great challenge is coming:

Room 8 Group is looking for an Intermediate React UI Developer to join our growing project teams and help us create engaging, high-quality user experiences for a Unity-based product.

In this role, you'll focus primarily on frontend and UI development using React and JavaScript/TypeScript, while working closely with the Unity/C# application layer. You'll collaborate with developers, designers, and other specialists to build scalable UI solutions and contribute to the overall quality of the product.

Superpowers you have:

• 3+ years of commercial software development experience
• Strong experience with JavaScript / TypeScript and React.js
• Solid experience developing complex and interactive user interfaces
• Good knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Experience building reusable UI components and working with component-based architecture
• Understanding of frontend state management, events, and data flow
• Ability to work with technical documentation and understand its role in the engineering process
• Experience with Git / GitLab
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Good English communication skills

You're a rockstar if you have:

• Experience with C# / .NET
• Basic knowledge of or experience with Unity
• Experience integrating frontend UI with C# or native application layers
• Experience with Coherent Gameface / Coherent for Unity
• Experience with UI architecture or design systems
• Experience with profiling, debugging, and UI performance optimization
• Experience with gamepad/controller navigation or game UI development

• Develop and maintain UI features using React and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components
• Integrate frontend UI with the Unity/C# application layer
• Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, code reviews, and task estimation
• Contribute to and review technical project documentation
• Work closely with senior developers, Unity engineers, designers, and other disciplines
• Debug and resolve UI and integration-related issues
• Contribute to improving UI architecture, development workflows, and code quality
• Communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary development team
• Continuously learn, share knowledge, and contribute to the overall goals of the project
