Reach Truck Operator

Location: New Century, KS

Pay: $21.00/hour + $3.00 Shift Differential

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up reach truck to transport, stack, and retrieve pallets of dairy products throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring product accuracy and proper placement.
• Place products in designated rack locations and retrieve inventory according to daily orders.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory, lot codes, and product locations.
• Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory processes to maintain product freshness and quality.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections, including battery levels, brakes, hydraulics, and overall forklift functionality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area by removing debris and reporting safety concerns.
• Adhere to all warehouse safety, food safety, and operational procedures.

Work Environment

• Refrigerated warehouse setting maintained between 34°F and 44°F
• Fast-paced distribution environment
• Regular operation of powered industrial equipment
• Standing, lifting, bending, and moving throughout the shift

Qualifications

• Previous stand-up reach truck experience required.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a cold storage environment.
• Experience using RF scanners or warehouse inventory systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle products as needed.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work available shifts.
