Reach Truck Operator – 1st Shift

Location: Tomball, TX
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Shift: 1st Shift, with the possibility of transitioning to 2nd Shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM)

Job Overview

LINK Staffing is hiring an experienced Reach Truck Operator for a busy warehouse facility in Tomball, TX. We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused individual with recent hands-on experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse or distribution environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is comfortable navigating warehouse aisles, working with elevated racking systems, and keeping materials moving efficiently throughout the facility.

Recent reach truck operating experience is strongly preferred. Candidates with only sit-down forklift experience may not meet the requirements for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up reach truck to move, store, and retrieve products from warehouse racking.

• Load, unload, stage, and put away materials in assigned locations.

• Accurately pull orders and replenish inventory.

• Navigate narrow aisles and elevated storage locations safely.

• Use RF scanners or warehouse management systems to track inventory movement.

• Verify product quantities, item numbers, and storage locations.

• Perform daily equipment inspections and report safety or mechanical concerns.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Assist with general warehouse operations as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent reach truck experience preferred.

• Previous warehouse or distribution center experience required.

• Comfortable operating a reach truck around warehouse racking and in tight spaces.

• Experience using RF scanners or inventory systems preferred.

• Ability to perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.

• Flexibility to transition to second shift if operational needs change.
