Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Reach Truck Operator to join our fulfillment center team. The Reach Truck Operator is responsible for safely operating a reach truck to move, store, and retrieve products throughout the warehouse while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting daily shipping and receiving operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a reach truck safely to transport, stack, and retrieve palletized products.
- Load, unload, and move inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Pick and replenish inventory from high rack locations.
- Verify product quantities and locations using RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts.
- Ensure products are stored securely and according to warehouse procedures.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, packing, and general warehouse duties as needed.
- Keep work areas clean and organized while following 5S standards.
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and warehouse procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience operating a reach truck required (typically 1+ year preferred).
- Valid forklift/reach truck certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout an entire shift.
- Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable working at elevated heights.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- May be required to work overtime, weekends, or holidays based on business needs.
