JOB TITLE: RCM Technician (Reliability Centered Maintenance)

LOCATION: Robinson Mine - Ruth, NV

POSITION REPORTS TO: Process Maintenance Superintendent

NONEXEMPT
Purpose & Scope of The Position:
To provide and/or improve Mill and Mine availability and capacity through technical application of predictive maintenance methods dedicated to preserve the Company's day-to-day asset reliability.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Follow safe work procedures and best practices.
- Learn & apply the principals of:
- Vibration Analysis
- Ultrasonic Testing
- Oil Analysis
- Infrared Thermography
- Equipment Failure Analysis
- Certified Weld Inspector (CWI)
- Help analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain critical pumping, lubrication, and hydraulic systems
- Willingness to perform other duties as necessary to ensure the success of KGHM.
Required Education, Work Experience & Training:
- A valid Driver's License.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Preferred Education, Work Experience & Training:
- Two years of mill maintenance mechanical experience preferably in a processing plant with crushing, grinding (including SAG circuits), conveying, flotation, thickening, concentrate, and filtering unit operating environments.
- Prior training with the following:
- Vibration Analysis
- Ultrasonic Testing
- Oil Analysis
- Infrared Thermography
- Equipment Failure Analysis
- Certified Weld Inspector (CWI)
Technical Skills:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Travel Requirements:
- Regular travel for required training and certification.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of a pre-employment physical, including drug and alcohol testing.
- Ability to meet the required physical demands, including exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
