Revenue Cycle Specialist – Behavioral Health 

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Cycle Specialist with deep behavioral health billing experience to take full ownership of our end‑to‑end revenue cycle operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, operates independently, and brings strong problem‑solving skills to every stage of the billing process.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage the entire revenue cycle including eligibility verification, coding, claim submission, denial management, appeals, aged AR resolution, credentialing, and month‑end reconciliation.

• Perform accurate ICD‑10 and CPT coding for behavioral health services.

• Investigate and resolve denied, unpaid, and aged AR claims, including deep‑dive research and payer follow‑up.

• Communicate with payers to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement.

• Handle credentialing tasks as needed.

• Support financial accuracy through reconciliation and revenue tracking.

• Identify process gaps and implement workflow improvements.

• Build structure, systems, and best practices for revenue cycle operations.

Required Qualifications

• Behavioral health billing experience (required).

• Proven full‑cycle revenue cycle ownership.

• Strong applied experience with ICD‑10 and CPT coding.

• Hands‑on experience with denial management, appeals, and aged AR resolution.

• Credentialing experience.

• Exposure to month‑end reconciliation or financial reporting.

• Highly organized, dependable, and able to work independently with full accountability.
