Raw Material Handler

Starting at: $16.50/hr

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm

Position Summary:

Responsible for opening raw material boxes and packages, delivering raw material to the production line.

Essential Functions:

Opens boxes and moves raw materials into the production room.
Removes raw materials from plastic packaging or container.
Feeds raw material to various production lines.
Loads chemical intervention cabinet and mechanical tenderizer (USDA department only).
Hand scaling of raw material (Seafood Only).Maintains a clean, neat and safe work area, including disposal of packaging and cartons, sweeping, storage of extra material and clean up of supplies.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

Ability to follow directions, standard procedures and respond to instructions
Ability to solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.
