Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and prepare all daily customer shipments to customer, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Generate and maintain all required shipping documentation, customs paperwork, and delivery records associated with customer shipments.
  • Accurately process and post all inbound and outbound inventory transactions within RAMOS SAP, ensuring inventory and financial records remain current and accurate.
  • Manage inbound freight operations from BorgWarner Ramos, including receipt verification, inventory reconciliation, and issue resolution.
  • Oversee the receipt, tracking, and inventory management of returnable dunnage from customer.
  • Coordinate outbound freight shipments to BorgWarner Ramos, ensuring accurate material handling, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Liaise with BorgWarner Ramos regarding customer physical product returns, material discrepancies, and return authorization processes.
  • Monitor transportation activities and proactively communicate potential delivery, inventory, or packaging issues to minimize supply chain disruptions.
  • Perform routine cycle count activities at the Flat Rock warehouse location to ensure inventory accuracy and support inventory control objectives.
  • Investigate inventory variances and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain compliance with company safety, quality, inventory control, and logistics procedures while supporting continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse and distribution operations.

Value-Added Responsibilities:

  • Support customer service and materials management teams by providing timely shipment, inventory, and return status updates.
  • Participate in cycle count activities and inventory accuracy improvement projects.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient logistics operations.
