Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. One year of experience in the supervision of custodial or janitorial work is required. Proof of education and work experience to meet minimum qualifications must be presented and will be verified.

The rail vehicle cleaner supervisor manages the night/day cleaning crews to ensure heavy rail vehicles are sanitized, safe, and ready for passenger service. This position will be responsible for housekeeping by maintaining a clean and organized maintenance shop. This supervisory role entails using knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment , an understanding of rail yard safety protocols, and third rail hazards. Skills in time management, communication and conflict resolution are important.
