Are you passionate about providing exceptional patient care in a collaborative, team-oriented environment? BayCare Clinic Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a Radiology Technician to join our growing team in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

We're looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented professional who is committed to creating a positive experience for every patient, every visit.

Schedule

  • 32-40 hours per week
  • Monday through Friday
  • Hours vary based on clinic needs between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
  • No weekends
  • No holidays

The Job:

  • Performs appropriate diagnostic radiographic exams.
  • Accurately identifies and labels radiographs.
  • Positions patients and selects exposure factors for various radiologic exams.
  • Provides radiation protection and safety in accordance with prescribed methods and sound professional ethics.
  • Adheres to established quality standards and performs equipment quality assurance tests as directed.
  • Assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to age-specific needs.
  • Reports malfunctioning equipment.
  • Assists in clinical direction and evaluation of student technologists.
  • Properly lifts and transports patients as needed.
  • Compares requisitions to physician orders to ensure accuracy of ordered examinations.
  • Responsible for outside film.
  • Processes film and has knowledge of all processing equipment.
  • Responsible for keeping all radiology policies current.
  • Attends and participates in professional organizations and continuing education programs for personal/professional growth.
  • Monitors radiation badges.
  • Accurately completes payroll on a daily basis.  Adheres to department rules and standards for attendance.
  • Respects and maintains confidentiality.

The Requirements: 

  • Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiologic technology.
  • Certification or registry eligible from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or other accepted accrediting bodies.
  • Must be CPR certified within one year of employment.
