Radiologic Technology Clinical and Didactic Instructor SUNY FMCC is seeking applicants for a full -time tenure -track position to teach in an established JRCERT accredited Radiologic Technology Program . Candidates must be committed to the mission of community colleges and teaching students who have a wide range of academic abilities.
Salary and Benefits

Responsibilities include but are not limited to
• Providing didactic laboratory course laboratory simulations and clinical instruction as assigned. • Correlating clinical education with didactic education to assure effectiveness. • Evaluat ing and facilitat ing clinical education effectiveness through a schedule of regular visits to the clinical education site s. • Advising students in matters related to academics clinical progress attendance and behaviors. • Course and program assessment and planning. • Ongoing participation in professional development activities relevant to the profession.
Qualifications
Required
• Current NYS Radiologic Technologist license and current ARRT certification in Radiography . • Three years of clinically based work experience as a licensed Radiologic Technologist. • A bachelors degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
Preferred
• A masters degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education masters degree is required prior to receiving tenure . • Classroom and clinical teaching experience are desired preferably at the two -year college level. • The ideal candidate will be multi- credentialed in Medical Imaging including post primary modalities such as computed tomography CT mammography M etc.
