Performs diagnostic medical radiographic procedures and studies with a thorough understanding of standard radiography and fluoroscopy. Responsible for maintenance of quality assurance for radiologic safety, equipment and the development of imaging acquired during cardiology procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology Suites. Cross trains with the ability and the knowledge to assist the cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and vascular surgeons in the performance of all non-invasive and invasive cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures.

Speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position. Knowledge of standard office equipment (i.e., calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint, internet, e-mail). Job Requirements

Minimum Education: As required by certification and/or licensure

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field

Minimum Experience: 1 - 2 years directly-related experience

Preferred Experience: 3 - 5 years directly-related experience

Required License: Certi Radiology Tech CRT(F) within 6 months of hire

Preferred License: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT(R)

Required Certification: 

  • Certified Radiologic Technologist CRT(R)

  • American Heart Association recognized Advanced Cardiac Life Support

  • American Heart Association recognized BLS - Healthcare Provider
